Small Groups?
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:42, 46-47
People gather from all over the Greater Seattle region—Everett to Kent, Port Angeles to Snoqualmie—to worship at Trinity Church on the Lord’s Day. While we regularly get everyone together for events and meetings, we also want to build community and love our neighbors in our local environs. To this end we are considering establishing small groups that meet weekly within a parish for building relationships, study, prayer and outreach. Here we would flesh out the practical implications of the Sunday sermon and encourage each other to love and good works, to live the mission of the gospel throughout the week.
