Trinity Church is a local gathering of saints who love the Lord Jesus Christ because He first loved us. We are evangelical and reformed. By evangelical, we mean that we proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the world, that He is the only way of salvation, and believing that Christ came to accomplish just that, the salvation of the world. By reformed, we mean that we stand in the stream of historical Protestantism; we believe that God’s sovereignty is absolutely exhaustive, and we embrace the doctrines of grace wholeheartedly.

Here are some of our ongoing ministries:

Trinity Church Music

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Col. 3:16-17

All of the musical offerings at Trinity Church exist first and foremost to glorify God by singing songs of praise and thanksgiving unto Him who is worthy of our praise. Secondly, they purpose to edify the saints according to our scriptural calling. The following choirs, classes, and meetings are offered to these ends that we might mature in our ability to worship our God in the beauty of holiness.

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is an auditioned ensemble; open to all regularly attending adult (or High School) members of Trinity Church. Admittance is dependent upon the consent of the chief musician following a brief musical hearing/interview. The adult choir exists to provide musical leadership for the church through a variety of means (singing in worship, psalm sings, etc.). Rehearsals run throughout the school year on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00pm.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble for children in grades 3-4. The choir is a training ensemble for the Youth Choir. Rehearsals run throughout the school year on Wednesdays from 3:00-3:45pm.

Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble for children in grade 5 and above consisting of a Boys’ Choir and a Girls’ Choir: boys may participate until their voice changes; girls may participate until they graduate from high school. The Youth Choir regularly sings in worship services. Rehearsals run throughout the school year on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:45pm.

Psalm Sings

Psalm Sings occur once a month (usually the first Sunday of each month following the feast). It exists to serve the entire congregation in learning new psalms and hymns, reviewing less familiar music and “old favorites,” and equipping the saints to sing with greater spiritual and musical understanding. All members are encouraged to attend this time of fellowship and instruction.

Singing School

Singing Schools are offered throughout the year to provide training in musical literacy and vocal production. Meeting times vary from Sunday mornings to weekday evenings.

Men’s Meeting

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17

The men of Trinity meet every month to study, pray and fellowship together. This meeting is open to all men and usually held on the second Tuesday, 7-9:30pm in the SDA Fellowship Hall.

We are currently working through Trinity and Reality by Ralph Smith, a practical primer on how the Trinity is at the heart of the Christian faith and life.

Ladies’ Fellowship

Every month the women of Trinity meet for payer, study and fellowship, to encourage and build one another up. This meeting usually works through a book that challenges and informs the calling of women to imitate Christ. Meetings times vary, but generally are held on the last Tuesday of the month, 7-9pm in a home.

Young Adult Fellowship

When Jesus was 12 years old, his parents found him sitting in the temple, listening to the teachers and asking questions. “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Our young adult ministry strives to do the same, all the while building fellowship and friendship and having fun together. Seventh to twelfth grade students are welcome. We meet monthly and our current topic is: Living in the Strength of Youth: Wisdom from the book of James. Click here to see the schedule.

This study will explore how the book of James speaks practically into the lives of teenagers. We will meet on the fourth Friday of every month 7-9:30pm. About half of the time will be singing and discussion and the other half hanging out. Students 7-12th grades are welcome, as well as interested adults.
